Rovers chief keep options open

Walker has confirmed the club has received enquiries about midfielder Richie Wellens without any firm bids while Rovers have been snubbed in their attempts to prise Neil Kilkenny away from Leeds. He told the club's official website: "Sean's got a list of players, I've got a list of players and so has the chief scout. We've sat down and had meetings to discuss these lists of players and discussing the possibilities more than anything. "Whether we can afford some of them or not, I'm not sure at the moment. If you look at it like supermarkets, you can shop at Asda with Harrods down the road and you have something like Sainsbury's in-between. "I'd say on that scale we are like Sainsbury's. You can't spend what you haven't got but we haven't lost many players, in fact the only players we have lost are the ones we have released."
