Doncaster Rovers skipper Brian Stock has had more on his mind than football over the last couple of weeks, though you wouldn't have known watching him lead his side to seven points from the last three Championship games Stock's father, Peter, suffered a stroke on the eve of home game against Millwall and remains in a serious condition."It's been very difficult and the condition he is in is very upsetting. It obviously plays on your mind and you want to be there for him," he told The Star."My mum and dad have supported me all my life and they are the reason I've got to were I am. They have followed me all over the country and have been great supporters."Stock admits that he did think of pulling out of the Millwall game - a decision which everyone at the club would have understood had he done so - but decided to play on."That's what he would have wanted me to do," said the Welsh international."I focused that hard on football that after the final whistle went I got all emotional. "As I say, it's difficult at times, but I've just got to try and maintain my focus."Stock's focus today will be on visiting Swansea - a club linked with him last season
