Doncaster Rovers skipper Brian Stock hopes to add to his solitary Welsh cap this weekend Stock made an impressive debut for John Toshack's side against Russia in September, but a three-month lay-off following an ankle operation, and a subsequent back problem, served to put paid to hopes of further international appearances during the 2009-10 season.Stock targeted Sunday's friendly against Croatia and hoped to impress Toshack, who had kept in touch during his time out of action, in the club's final Championship game of the season against promotion-chasing Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium. However, Stock was forced to pull out of the game due to a slight Achilles problem. The injury quickly cleared up and Stock, who played just 15 games last season, has continued to train during the summer break.Stock feared that his lack of games during the run-in, during which time he made one appearance, would count against him when the squad was first announced. But his chances of playing have been boosted by late withdrawals. The squad will fly out to Osijek tomorrow.
