Rovers boss thankful for break

Midfield pair John Oster and Quinton Fortune are in the middle of three-game bans, skipper Brian Stock is sidelined long-term following knee surgery and stand-in captain Adam Lockwood fractured two bones in his foot last week and could be out for up to three months. O'Driscoll said: "The break's probably come at the best time for us. We've not got major problems, but if we had a game on Tuesday we'd be struggling to field a team capable of getting a result. "We're not the team we were, with the players we've lost through injury and the players we've sold. We've got to nurture other players to come into the team and that takes time. "The break's come at the right time for us, so we can get a clearer picture of where we are in time for another derby against Barnsley." Other absentees include James Coppinger, who has recently recovered from an ankle problem, only to sustain a calf injury, Mark Wilson (calf) and centre-half Byron Webster, who hyper-extended his elbow at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
