Oster set for derby day action

Doncaster midfielder John Oster insists he is raring to go ahead of this weekend's eagerly-anticipated local derby against Scunthorpe. The 30-year-old played in highly charged Merseyside and north-east derbies for Everton and Sunderland respectively, and he is hoping for three points at Glanford Park to kickstart Rovers' season in his latest experience. He told The Star: "Derby games are always special - though probably more so for the fans. "Obviously you want to give the supporters something to cheer and to try and give them local bragging rights. "But for most of the players it is a case of trying to pick up three points whether it's a derby game or not. "Scunthorpe are at home so it is going to be difficult."
