O'Kelly wants Rovers to perform

The Rovers assistant manager knows that a win could propel his club to brink of safety in the Championship but accepts that it will not be easy against a Watford side that boasts an nucleus of quality players and has impressed under rookie manager Brendan Rodgers. "The big thing is that we go out and perform because that will give us our best opportunity to come out of the game with something," O'Kelly told The Star. "At the end of the day we need to pick up something, be it either one point or three. "Brendan has changed things and brought one or two players in including Jack Cork from Chelsea, who looks a quality player, and Don Cowie from Scotland. "Tommy Smith was already there and he has a wonderful football brain. They have also got Tamas Priskin, who is an intelligent centre-forward."
