O'Driscoll wants another look

Barrow striker Walker, former Everton and Sunderland midfielder Oster and former Manchester United midfielder Fortune all featured for Rovers during Saturday's 4-0 triumph over Rotherham. And O'Driscoll is hoping to have another look at the trio in Tuesday's pre-season friendly at Grimsby. He told the club's official website: "We'll try and keep Jason for another week, if Barrow let us, and then he'll play some part in the Grimsby game. Then, I think to be fair to everybody, we need to make a decision and decide what we are going to do." Speaking about Oster and Fortune, he added: "Both boys obviously want to sort themselves out with clubs. That was the first competitive game that John has played in three months and Quinton played for an hour as well as a behind-closed-doors game against Chesterfield. "I thought Quinton and Brian Stock complimented each other and John fitted into some of the passing and movement that we were trying to do. We'd like to keep them for another week and include them against Grimsby."
