O`Driscoll takes a look at trio

Manager Sean O'Driscoll has praised the efforts of three trialists who made their Doncaster debuts in the goalless draw with non-league side Quorn. Manchester City full-back Shaleum Logan, former Coventry midfielder Joel Grandison and ex-West Ham man Josh Payne, who suffered a minor injury in the game, all started and could feature again in Saturday's clash with Solihull Moors. "Josh did well but he has taken a knock in the first half of the game," O'Driscoll told the club's official website. "We wanted to play him a little bit longer, but that would be pushing him through and you don't really want to do that. He'll probably miss training over the next couple of days. "Shaleum is available from Manchester City, they've obviously got players coming out of their ears. He's one that is available and he was on loan last year. He's got one or two other clubs to go to and this was an opportunity to get him in for a few days and play a couple of games. "Joel has just been released from Coventry and he has been recommended and he is local to where we are, so it is worth having a look - but the downside is that it is difficult to bring three players in that know the way we do things but we have to do it."
