The Donny chief is also predicting a mad scramble for signatures just before the new season, with clubs reluctant to spend more money than they need to. "The financial climate will dictate what happens in the summer," he told The Star. "I would imagine the first thing that firms will look to cut will be things like ground hoardings and programme sponsorship and this that and the other. "That will impact on people's financial position. Season tickets will also play a big part. "Clubs are not going to pay summer wages and I don't think that you will see a lot of movement until the start of pre-season training."
