O'Driscoll pays tribute to Rovers

Rovers produced one of their best performances of the campaign to win 3-0 at Plymouth on Saturday, meaning they are assured of another season in the second tier. That outcome looked unlikely after a poor start to the season had left them looking like relegation certainties at Christmas, and O'Driscoll has praised his players for sticking to their principals of playing passing football. "We were sitting at the bottom of the league and you couldn't help coming out of games and saying 'well played'," O'Driscoll admitted in the Sheffield Star. "We were getting done by silly goals, lack of concentration and all the daft little things you maybe get away with in League One. "In this league you can't, and we've adapted really well. We've played some good football and we've had some nice things said about us up and down the country. We didn't want nice things said and be out of the division, so it's a job well done from us."
