O'Driscoll: One for the neutrals

Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll acknowledged the open nature of the game as his side drew 1-1 with Preston - but he was critical of his side's lack of discipline. Brian Stock opened the scoring for Rovers but Paul Hayes came off the bench to salvage a point for the visitors. O'Driscoll said: "The neutrals have probably gone home clapping their hands. For us there was good spirit and determination, but we were far too open. "We walked off the pitch after losing to Cardiff on Saturday having ticked all the boxes and not got anything out of the game. Here we ticked half the boxes and got a point. It's a strange game, football. "It was a good goal to take the lead. We created enough chances to win it and conceded enough chances to lose it so a draw is probably a fair result. "We committed some basic errors and we got away with it."
