O'Driscoll on lookout for new stopper

Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll wants to draft in an experienced goalkeeper as cover for the injured Neil Sullivan. Sullivan, 41, has been struggling in recent weeks with foot and shin injuries and, after returning to the side last week, missed out again on Saturday against Watford due to a recurrence. O'Driscoll said: "Neil's injury flared up again after he took a whack on it. He's reacted to the shin injury, so he wasn't fit. "It might take a few weeks as well. It's not one of those we think will clear up. So we may be in the market for a goalkeeper. I'm not sure yet." Gary Woods, 20, has stepped in for Sullivan, but O'Driscoll wants an older head in his squad as Rovers look to fend off a relegation battle. O'Driscoll added: "We'd like to be comfortable in mid-table where we could leave Gary in. But you have to be able to pull all young players out at certain times."
