O'Driscoll looks to loan market

Rovers were without seven first-team players for last week's 1-1 draw at Sheffield United and lost two more after a full-blooded local derby. Skipper Brian Stock (knee), Adam Lockwood (foot), Byron Webster (elbow), Mark Wilson (calf), James Coppinger (ankle and calf), Sean McDaid and Steve Brooker (both knee) are all curently sidelined, while John Oster and Quinton Fortune have been suspended. O'Driscoll told Doncaster Free Press: "We've talked to people already regarding loan signings - in fact we have been making enquiries for some time. "But I don't think anything will happen until after the international break. "When it comes to Premier League clubs they can't sign players on loan themselves so they have to see if everybody comes back fit before they can talk about letting players go out on loan. "That's the response we've been getting, so it looks like a case of wait and see."
