O'Driscoll happy with Shiels

The absence of James Coppinger saw Shiels make his full debut for Rovers and the ex-Hibernian striker was unlucky not to open his goalscoring account for the club in a tight game. But despite his praise for the 24-year-old Northern Ireland international, O'Driscoll is still expecting to see a future improvement from the player. "There were bits that were really good and there were bits that he needs to work on," he told the club's official website. "He needs to make sure that the times he has good possession he needs to be positive with it rather than not knowing where to go or what to do. "I thought Dean was a threat all afternoon."
