O'Driscoll's side are under pressure to secure only their third league win of the season at the Keepmoat Stadium against the Seasiders, who Holloway has steered to within a point of the play-off places since taking over in the summer.

"I know Ian from coaching courses we've both been on and he has obviously done a shrewd job since taking over," O'Driscoll told the Doncaster Free Press.

"They were a team I liked last season but he's come in and tweaked it here and there and they're playing well and getting results.

"Ian believes in his players and gets the best out of them. He wears his heart on his sleeve and the players respond to him."
