O'Driscoll delight at Brooker return

Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll said the return to full training of striker Steve Brooker "is like having a new player". Brooker, who joined Doncaster from Bristol City for an undisclosed fee in January 2009, missed the whole of last season and played only seven games of the campaign before that due to a succession of ankle-related problems. O'Driscoll told the club's official website: "Steve is doing fine and he's looked good in training. His ankle is ok and he's pain free for, probably, the first time in two years. "When players have been out, they might lose their pace and their strength, but Steve has a great touch - he always has - and that has been evident in the times he has trained with the first team. "It's been good. It's been like having a new player. Psychologically it's good for him to kick a football and join in with everybody. "He's been impressive in training and hopefully he's going to be ok. He'll hopefully get some games while we are in Warwick or in Devon."
