O'Driscoll could alter pre-season

Rovers defied expectations to avoid relegation from the Championship and achieve a respectable mid-table position, and O'Driscoll is fully focused on arranging the best possible preparation for his side. He told the Sheffield Star: "It would be nice, as Hull City did last year, to do some altitude training. But for that to happen the club have got to lay off three people, then you are not going to be able to do it. "We are trying to look to see where we can get the best preparation. "We've mooted going to Premier Division clubs and playing probably their under-21 team - but as a training game in the day, rather than a night game, where there is all the expense of hiring the stadium and all this, that and the other. "It is a little bit different but we are having to look at these sort of things. We'll probably put together our pre-season programme in the next week or so."
