O'Driscoll admits Rovers are safe

O'Driscoll, who has maintained throughout the season that his only aim was to avoid relegation, hinted at a possible play-off challenge after his side climbed to within four points of the top six in midweek.

He said: "I don't think I can spin this one out any longer. We'd be extremely unfortunate or extremely poor if we were playing in League One next season, so I'm delighted.

"The players have shown a great attitude and we can move on to something else now. I don't like just saying things, I think you need a strategy and a plan.

"If we are going to do it then we may as well give ourselves the best possible chance."
