Mills may make it
Doncaster defender Joe Mills is hoping to return to the starting line-up for the clash at Derby.
Mills, on loan from Southampton, was a second-half substitute in last week's home win over Middlesbrough following an ankle injury that had kept him out since early November.
Fellow defender James O'Connor is not expected back from a calf injury for the Boxing Day clash, but could return to contention for the home game with Ipswich next Tuesday.
Midfielder Martin Woods returned to the bench following a groin injury against Middlesbrough and could make his first appearance since the end of October against Derby.
