Mills may make it

Doncaster defender Joe Mills is hoping to return to the starting line-up for the clash at Derby. Mills, on loan from Southampton, was a second-half substitute in last week's home win over Middlesbrough following an ankle injury that had kept him out since early November. Fellow defender James O'Connor is not expected back from a calf injury for the Boxing Day clash, but could return to contention for the home game with Ipswich next Tuesday. Midfielder Martin Woods returned to the bench following a groin injury against Middlesbrough and could make his first appearance since the end of October against Derby. Defender Mustapha Dumbuya remains sidelined for another five weeks due to knee cartilage damage and centre-half Wayne Thomas (calf) is not ready to return.
