Mills hoping to follow in Matt's footsteps

Doncaster's new loan signing Joseph Mills has a big incentive to prove himself at the Keepmoat Stadium. The 20-year-old defender, who arrived in time to make his Rovers debut in the midweek home defeat to Derby, is the younger brother of Matt, who Doncaster sold to Reading for £2million in August 2009 after he had spent 18 months with the South Yorkshire club. Joseph Mills told the club's official website: "I've obviously heard a lot about the football club. I've been up here a few times when Matthew was here before. "I know it's a great club, a club that plays good football and plays it in the right way and I was pleased to come up here. "Matthew was the first person that I told. I told him about it and he was over the moon to be fair. He told me how great the club is, a great set-up with the backroom staff and things like that. It got me excited to come up here. "For me this is a great challenge. The Championship is where I want to be playing. To have the opportunity to come up here and to start my first game, although we didn't get the result I was hoping for, it was good. I' excited to get back into this league."
