The 18-year-old striker played four games for Sean O'Driscoll's side in the Championship after Newcastle chose to send him out on loan. And having enjoyed his time at the Keepmoat Stadium, the Congo-born forward is now happy to be back in Alan Shearer's thoughts at his parent club. "I really enjoyed it and it was a very good experience for me," he told the Shields Gazette. "It was my first spell on loan anywhere, and the manager Sean O'Driscoll was very nice to me. "I played in the reserves for so long, I wanted to play men's football. "I played four games down there, and the Championship level is a good one. It's been good coming back, I was on the bench against Middlesbrough and that was a great feeling."
