Doncaster manager Sean O`Driscoll has received a massive boost with the news that long-term absentees George Friend and Simon Gillett have stepped up their recoveries from injury. Club physio John Dickens has been overseeing the rehabilitation of the pair and hopes they will be back in training within four weeks. "George came out of his leg brace on Friday," Dickens told the club`s offical website. "We can do a lot more active work with him. "The same applies to Simon. His knee is healing well, four weeks of hard work and then back into training." James Chambers is another player close to a return for Rovers. "Chambers is in his last couple of weeks of rehab," Dickens revealed. "We will soon know whether his knee can cope with full training."
