The 28-year-old Irishman, who has scored two goals in six appearances for the Pirates since arriving on loan from Doncaster in February, has extended his stay until the end of the season.[LNB]Heffernan told the Bristol Evening Post: "I've enjoyed it down here and got on well with everyone at the club, so it was an easy decision to make.[LNB]"If a longer-term deal is spoken about we'll see how it goes, but at the moment I'm just concentrating on the rest of the season.[LNB]"I've not spoken to Doncaster about what might happen with them, although I wouldn't think there would be anything for me, though to be honest, I don't have a clue."[LNB]The former Bristol City forward would not be available for Rovers if they succeed in making a late charge for the play-offs as all loan deals are limited to a maximum of 93 days.[LNB][LNB]
