Healy wary of Wellens
Doncaster striker David Healy has identified former team-mate Richie Wellens as one of Leicester`s key players ahead of the clash between the two sides.
Northern Ireland international Healy, on loan at the Keepmoat Stadium, came through the youth ranks of Manchester United alongside 30-year-old Wellens, and admits his surprise that the midfield general never got a chance at Premier League level.
"I know Richie pretty well," Healy told the club's official website. "He's a very good player.
"In addition, they have strikers such as Martyn Waghorn and Steve Howard. Waghorn is tough, strong, stocky and works hard. He scores goals and has a good left foot.
"But Richie Wellens, I played Under-14 and Under-15 with him at Manchester United and the only surprise to me was that he never went on to play in the top flight. But he's doing a good job for Leicester, did a good job here and it looks like he is one of their main players."
