Hayter to battle through pain

Doncaster striker James Hayter is hoping an injection in a troublesome ankle will help him through to the end of the season without further problems. Hayter has twice been sidelined for lengthy spells through injury this season but has still hit 10 goals and expects to be firing on all cylinders for the run-in. He said: "I had to have an injection into my ankle, which stemmed from my previous problem. "I managed to get through the last few games since I came back but I needed an injection which needed to be rested for a few days afterwards. "It's nothing serious and not anything that needs to be sorted in the summer, just a slight impingement in my ankle following my calf injury. "The break has given me the chance to have the injection and I've been able to spend this week training and get ready for the weekend's game against Bristol."
