Fryatt blow overshadows stalemate

A serious injury to Matty Fryatt marred the goalless draw in the Coca-Cola Championship encounter between Leicester and Doncaster. Fryatt was carried off in the first half after a sickening clash with Doncaster's Brian Stock and he left the Walkers Stadium in an ambulance with a suspected broken jaw. Leicester did not let the injury - or the seven-minute delay - affect them and may feel they did enough to earn all three points as Paul Gallagher, Dany N'Guessan and Bruno Berner all had chances to break the deadlock. Doncaster rarely threatened with Billy Sharp's effort on the counter-attack their best chance. The Foxes were left to reflect on a potentially damaging evening as they recorded their third successive home draw and look set to be without top scorer Fryatt for some time.
