Emmanuel Thomas uncertain of his future

Arsenal loanee Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has admitted that he does not know what the future holds for him beyond the current campaign but, one thing is definite, he is certainly reaping the benefits of regular football. Jay is currently enjoying a fruitful loan spell with Rovers in the Championship and saw his already impressive stock rise with a splendid performance against newly-promoted West Bromwich Albion at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The tall, talented player struck his fourth goal since joining Doncaster on loan and provided the assist for his side's only other goal on the day, scored by James Hayter five minutes from time. The 19 year old has had an eventful season, sandwiching his long-awaited Arsenal first-team debut against Stoke City in the FA Cup between a spell at Blackpool and his current stint at Doncaster, whilst also finding the time to score a hat-trick for the Reserves at Upton Park in January. Emmanuel-Thomas has now made 10 appearances for Doncaster but, with the play-off's out of reach, there are only three more games before the season draws to a close. What will happen to Emmanuel-Thomas after that is as yet unclear, but he was keen to express the importance of his current spell and didn't rule out the possibility of extending his loan with Doncaster next season. 'I don't know what is going to happen, but I have enjoyed playing regularly and I will have to wait and see' said Emmanuel-Thomas after Saturday's 3-2 defeat,
