Duo nearing returns

Doncaster pair Martin Woods and Adam Lockwood hope to step up their rehabilitation following injuries this week. Midfielder Woods has missed the last nine games due to a groin injury that has required an injection but the Scot will start running again next week. Central defender Lockwood has been out since the end of September following successive metatarsal injuries. Lockwood was out for two months after breaking a bone in his foot and when poised to rejoin the first-team squad suffered a similar injury to the other foot. He aims to return to light training this week. Byron Webster is also recovering from a fractured metatarsal sustained in training last week and will be sidelined for at least six weeks while another central defender, Jason Shackell, is not expected to return for another fortnight.
