Striker Brooker has yet to appear for Doncaster after arriving initially on loan from Bristol City at the end of last year. His move was made permanent in January, but he has been dogged by calf and ankle injuries that required surgery. The 28-year-old hopes to be back in full training by the end of November. Defender McDaid, sidelined for 18 months following a series of knee operations, will look to step up his rehabilitation over the next fortnight after rejoining the first-team squad. Meanwhile, James Coppinger is hoping to be fit in time for Rovers' derby clash with Barnsley a week on Saturday following a calf injury that has forced him to miss the last two matches.
