Doncaster midfielder Alfie Beestin returns to contention for Yeovil clash

Doncaster's teenage midfielder Alfie Beestin will return to contention for the home game against Yeovil.

Beestin, signed from Tadcaster Albion earlier this summer, has recovered from illness and is expected to return to the bench.

But boss Darren Ferguson still has a lengthy injury list as his side chase a third-straight win, with Tyler Garrett (foot), Neil Mason (knee), Mathieu Baudry (Achilles), Craig Alcock (ankle), Luke McCullough (knee) and Joe Wright (toe) all still out.

Gary McSheffrey and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair (both knee) and midfielder Paul Keegan (thigh) also remain sidelined.

Yeovil could hand debuts to Kyle Copp and Izale McLeod at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Former Swansea midfielder Copp, 19, signed on non-contract terms this week having been awaiting international clearance since agreeing to join the Glovers earlier this month. McLeod had his Notts County contract terminated on Thursday and moves on a free transfer.

Defender Ryan Dickson could return after missing the midweek EFL Cup defeat to Everton through injury, while striker Francois Zoko could start for the first time this term after a hip problem.

Central defender Alex Lacey faces about six to eight weeks out with a broken arm.
