Flynn looks to stick

Doncaster boss Brian Flynn expects to have an unchanged squad for the visit of Tranmere.

Midfielders Martin Woods (calf), Paul Keegan (thigh) and David Syers (ankle) remain absent but Flynn has options should he wish to makes changes to his line-up.

Defender James Husband, midfielder James Harper and strikers Billy Paynter, Iain Hume and Emile Sinclair all started on the bench as the npower League One leaders beat Swindon 1-0 at home on Monday.

Ahead of the game against seventh-placed Tranmere, Flynn said: "I think we're good enough to be top. What we do is the most important thing and we'd rather be the team being chased than doing the chasing.

"Tranmere have been very impressive and unfortunately they've had some injuries, which is hard when you have a small squad. Ronnie Moore has blended them into a good team and he has used the loan market very well."

Moore must contend with a host of injury problems as Tranmere look to rescue their flailing npower League One promotion campaign.

Rovers' 1-0 Easter Monday defeat to Portsmouth dropped them to seventh place, below a top six they have rarely been outside during a season of unexpected achievement.

But the relentless fixture list has taken its toll on Moore's small squad and the news arrived this week that winger Adam McGurk (hip) and on-loan Stoke forward Mamady Sidibe (adductor) will miss the final four games of the campaign.

To compound matters, attacking duo Andy Robinson and Michael O'Halloran are doubts for the trip to the Keepmoat Stadium having been struck down with stomach bugs this week.

As a result, Moore moved to recall Joe Thompson from his loan spell at Rochdale on Thursday and the winger is set to feature.
