No new worries for Rovers

Doncaster have no new problems for the visit of Rochdale in the Capital One Cup.

Manager Paul Dickov is not afforded the luxury of squad rotation with Rovers' small group so he would have been pleased to seeall his players emerge unscathed from their opening Championship fixture against Blackpool at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Injury may once again force Harry Forrester to wait for his debut after a knock ruled out the summer signing from Brentford on Saturday. Fellow midfielder Marc De Val Fernandez (medial knee ligament) and centre-half Jamie McCombe (back) are expected to remain absent for the next two months.

Dickov is in talks with a trio of left-backs, all of whom currently play for Premier League clubs, but a signing is not expected in time for the Round 1 tie on Tuesday night.

Rochdale boss Keith Hill has a full-strength squad to choose from.

Hill handed five players their debuts in the opening-day win over Hartlepool and several more could make their first appearances atthe Keepmoat Stadium.

Midfielder Bastien Hery, a recent signing from Sheffield Wednesday, former Celtic goalkeeper Robbie Thomson and on-loan teenage defender Jack O'Connell are hoping to make their first appearances after sitting on the bench on Saturday.

Winger Matty Done, a second-half substitute against Pools, could play a bigger role as he continues to build up his match fitness, while teenagers Joe Bunney and Jamie Allen are also in contention.
