Forrester banned for Rovers

Doncaster will be without Harry Forrester when Preston visit the Keepmoat Stadium.

Forrester was sent off during the 3-1 home defeat to Port Vale at the weekend and the forward is suspended against North End on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old may not be the only absentee for Rovers manager Paul Dickov as striker Curtis Main (knee) and full-back Reece Wabara (hamstring) are nursing injuries following the Vale loss.

The likes of Theo Robinson, Liam Wakefield, Marc De Val Fernandez and Kyle Bennett, who came off the bench to score Doncaster's goal on Saturday, are options for Dickov should he wish to make any changes to his starting line-up.

Simon Grayson expects Preston duo Bailey Wright and Paul Gallagher to feature.

Both Australia international Wright and wide-man Gallagher came off in the second half of the impressive 4-0 win at Scunthorpe with slight groin problems, but Grayson insists they were precautions.

The North End manager is also hopeful that winger Andy Little can overcome a muscle strain, although this contest comes too soon for both Lee Holmes (chest) and Kyel Reid (knee).

The injuries out wide meant Chris Humphrey started at Scunthorpe and Grayson may choose to retain the Jamaica international after his goal-scoring afternoon.
