James Coppinger a major doubt for Doncaster

James Coppinger is a major doubt for Doncaster manager Darren Ferguson as his side looks to seal a return to Sky Bet League One.

Victory over Mansfield would guarantee a top-three finish for Rovers, who remain six points clear at the top.

However, Ferguson will have to cope without veteran Coppinger, who missed the win over Grimsby with an ankle problem, while fellow midfielderConor Grant is also a doubt after failing to overcome a groin injury.

Niall Mason was forced off with an ankle scare but is expected to be okay to feature, while there was also an unexpected return to the bench for Joe Wright last Saturday.

Mansfield will continue to assess Hayden White ahead of the trip to South Yorkshire.

The full-back missed last weekend's defeat to Exeter through injury but could be fit to feature at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Stags manager Steve Evans has a decision to make at centre-back with George Taft, who returned against the Grecians following a lengthy injury lay-off, competing for one of two spots with Krystian Pearce, Kyle Howkins and Rhys Bennett.

Forward Yoann Arquin will definitely be available after recovering from his injury problem.
