Rovers missing N'Guessan

Doncaster boss Paul Dickov will be without forward Dany N'Guessan for his side's Capital One Cup first-round clash with Leeds.

The former Leicester and Millwall man is struggling with a foot injury and will not be involved on Thursday, but there may be a return for long-term absentee Paul Keegan.

Keegan missed the last two months of the 2014/15 campaign with a knee injury but he is making good progress and Dickov will check on the 31-year-old ahead of kick-off.

Dickov has plenty of options should he wish to shuffle his pack, with striker Nathan Tyson in contention after coming off the bench in the second half of Rovers' 1-1 draw against Bury at the weekend.

Leeds manager Uwe Rosler is expected to rotate his squad.

Winger Stuart Dallas and midfielder Alex Mowatt are among those who could step down after starting the 1-1 draw against Burnley, while the goalscorer in that game, Mirco Antenucci, is pressing for a start.

Forward Lee Erwin and goalkeeper Ross Turnbull are ready to make debuts if required.

While Tommaso Bianchi is still out with a knee injury, fellow midfielder Luke Murphy could return to contention following a similar problem.
