Sharp set for Rovers return

Billy Sharp will come back into the Doncaster squad when Huddersfield visit the Keepmoat Stadium but Bongani Khumalo begins a lengthy absence against the Terriers.

Sharp is available again after serving a three-match suspension and his return boosts manager Paul Dickov's striking options.

However, Khumalo will miss the remainder of the season - and will be out for around six months - after the centre-half suffered a ruptured kneecap this week while on international duty with South Africa.

Midfielder Mark Duffy and defender Paul Quinn could also return to the reckoning following injuries, with Dickov likely to make changes to his starting line-up after the 5-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

Huddersfield striker Jon Stead could return to contention for the game against the Terriers' Yorkshire rivals.

Stead returned from his loan spell at Oldham this week and will be hoping to be included in boss Mark Robins' plans.

Leading goalscorer James Vaughan remains sidelined due to the calf injury sustained against Charlton at the end of January, while defender Joel Lynch is in rehab following groin surgery.

Midfielder Jonathan Hogg missed last week's 5-0 win against Barnsley due to a calf strain and remains doubtful as Town chase a fourth league win in six matches.
