Keegan ready for Rovers return

Paul Keegan is set to return to the Doncaster squad for the visit of League One leaders Bristol City.

Keegan was not risked at Port Vale on Saturday after sustaining a thigh strain against Crewe last week, with Abdul Razak handed his full debut in the 3-0 defeat to the Valiants. However, fellow midfielder James Coppinger (ankle) is likely to remain on the sidelines.

Harry Forrester came off at half-time at the weekend on his return from a groin problem but it is unclear whether his substitution was related to the injury or a tactical switch by Rovers boss Paul Dickov.

As well as Keegan, Dickov has the likes of Cedric Evina, Theo Robinson, Curtis Main, Luke McCullough and Uche Ikpeazu available for recalls should he wish to make any changes to his starting line up.

City boss Steve Cotterill is set to ring the changes as they look to recover from a shock defeat.

The Robins boss saw his side beaten 3-2 at struggling Colchester on Saturday and Cotterill resorted to one first-half substitution and another at half-time in a bid to salvage something from the match.

Mark Little and Kieran Agard were both sent on and could start while midfielder Marlon Pack will hope to be given the nod.

Aaron Wilbraham continued his recovery from a hip injury with another substitute appearance and could be handed his first start since December.
