Keegan set for Rovers return

Paul Keegan comes back into the reckoning for Doncaster when they resume Sky Bet Championship action at home to Bournemouth.

Keegan was suspended for the Capital One Cup tie with Leeds on Tuesday night following his red card in the abandoned league fixture at Charlton last weekend.

He could go straight back into the starting line-up for James Coppinger, who Rovers have spent the week assessing since he was on the end of a hefty challenge from Leeds' Jason Pearce during the second-round clash.

Harry Forrester came on as a late substitute against Brian McDermott's team after injury but fellow midfielder Marc De Val Fernandez continues to recover from a torn medial ligament and is still some way of making his debut for the club.

Bournemouth's record signing Tokelo Rantie will not be involved.

The 22-year-old South African striker was snapped up from Malmo this week but he will not join up with Eddie Howe's men until after the international break.

But the Cherries will be boosted by the return of midfielder Harry Arter. A thigh strain caused the 23-year-old to sit out Wednesday's 2-0 defeat to Watford but he is available again.

The Keepmoat Stadium is a ground where the Cherries' renaissance under Howe really kicked into gear last season, Arter's strike earning Bournemouth their fifth win in six unbeaten matches since their manager returned from Burnley.
