Robinson in Rovers squad

Theo Robinson is expected to go straight into the Doncaster squad when they resume league action at home to Blackburn.

Robinson joined the South Yorkshire club from Championship rivals Derby on Thursday and boosts manager Paul Dickov's attacking options.

Dickov, whose side were without a game last weekend due to Wigan's involvement in the FA Community Shield, will assess Dean Furman when the midfielder returns from international duty in his native South Africa while teenage defender Luke McCullough has also been away with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.

It remains to be seen whether Harry Forrester has recovered from a knock but fellow midfielder Marc De Val Fernandez is definitely out as he continues to recover from a torn medial ligament.

Blackburn will have Tom Cairney available for the clash.

The Hull loanee was sent off for two bookable offences during last week's Capital One Cup clash with Carlisle but is back in contention after missing out against Nottingham Forest.

Gary Bowyer will be without DJ Campbell, though, as the striker continues to recover from an ankle injury sustained in pre-season while Grant Hanley should play despite taking a knock to the head on international duty.

Bowyer's men are still looking for their first win of the season and play Doncaster for the first time in a league fixture since 1958 when Rovers ran out 5-1 winners at Belle Vue.
