Rovers and Glovers share points

Automatic promotion contenders Doncaster and Yeovil contested a 1-1 draw at the Keepmoat Stadium.

However, the hosts will feel they should have clinched a first win in five games after dominating for long periods.

A blunder by Rovers goalkeeper Gary Woods gifted the Glovers the lead in the sixth minute when he fumbled a free-kick from Jamie McAllister and Paddy Madden popped up to slam home his 19th goal of the season.

Doncaster responded well and James Coppinger had a low shot saved in the 20th minute before Billy Paynter grabbed a deserved equaliser on the stroke of half-time.

A cracking effort from James Husband was tipped behind by visiting keeper Marek Stech and from the resulting corner Paynter headed home David Cotterill's cross.

Paynter had earlier missed a great chance when he headed against the crossbar and Rovers continued to spurn openings in the second half with Rob Jones heading wide from point-blank range.

Yeovil substitute Gavin Williams squandered a chance in the 70th minute.

Doncaster felt they should have been awarded a penalty when Stech appeared to bring down David Syers 13 minutes from time but the referee waved away the appeals.
