Doncaster midfielder James Coppinger believes a positive start to their npower Championship campaign can provide the foundations for another strong season. Rovers flirted with a late surge to the play-offs last season but faded away and Coppinger is hoping his team can begin in the right manner this time around. Sean O'Driscoll's team start at Preston on Saturday and the midfielder, 26, reckons three points at Deepdale would be the perfect start. Coppinger told the club's official website: "A good start is massively important, especially from what we experienced last season. I think the first 10 games is a good marker. "After the first 10 games it breeds confidence and you can go into the rest of the season feeling good about yourselves and you can build on it. "We need something to build on after the first 10 games. You're not going to win anything in the first game but you can build on it."
