Coppinger concern for Rovers

25 September 2009 12:37
Coppinger has been struggling with an ankle injury and missed last weekend's 3-3 draw with Ipswich. Rovers will still be without striker James Hayter due to a groin injury, but Paul Heffernan returned to the bench last week and came through the last 10 minutes, while Lewis Guy could return to the squad. Waide Fairhurst is expected to keep his place alongside on-loan Sheffield United forward Billy Sharp after scoring his second goal in two matches last Saturday. Long-term absentee Sean McDaid is close to a return to full training and Steve Brooker (ankle and Achilles) is making steady progress. Kick-off 12pm.
