Brian keen to raise international Stock

Doncaster skipper Brian Stock insists his international days are far from over following his withdrawal from the Wales squad. Stock was included in caretaker-coach Brian Flynn's squad for the European Championship qualifier against Bulgaria at the Cardiff City Stadium, but has pulled out due to lack of match fitness. The Rovers midfielder, operating mainly from the bench this season following his back problem, said: "At this moment in time, I'm not prepared to finish playing international football. "I did speak to Brian Flynn about that and I said to him that I don't want to close the door on international football. "I just felt that, at this time, I wasn't ready for it. If I go to Wales, you want to give 100%. I felt that I wouldn't do myself justice if I was with the squad. "I'd always like to be considered for the squad. If it meant that I wasn't selected for future squads because of me pulling out, then fair enough, but it wouldn't be through me not wanting to go."
