Surgery sidelines Albrechtsen

Derby County manager Paul Jewell may enter the loan market after learning that Martin Albrechtsen will be sidelined for a month after having a hernia operation.
The 28-year-old Danish defender missed the 2-1 win at Norwich City with a groin problem after limping out of last month's game against Birmingham City.
"Martin's had the operation now and it will probably keep him out for a minimum of four weeks, which is disappointing for us," Jewell told the Rams' official website.
"There's no good time in this league to have an operation because, by the time the next games come around, we're back in the Saturday-Tuesday cycle again.
"Martin's going to miss a fair sprinkling of games. He's had this groin problem so the surgeon wanted the operation done as quickly as possible.
"It isn't idea but that's what a season in the Championship is about - dealing with injuries, dealing with suspensions, and you know you're going to get tested.
"Maybe we'll have a look at the loan market."
