Striker set to make Rams debut

The 36-year-old has joined the Rams until January 1 and goes straight into the squad for the clash with Billy Davies' men. Dickov's arrival softens the blow of losing Steve Davies with a dead leg while Giles Barnes (Achilles), Chris Porter (hip) and Luke Varney (on loan at Sheffield Wednesday) are also absent. Paul Green is available for selection after shaking off a foot problem while defenders Shaun Barker (thigh) and Dean Leacock (groin and pelvis) stepped up their return to fitness with outings in the opening reserve-team fixture against Shrewsbury on Wednesday night. The match kicks off at 1pm.
