Derby County have received international clearance to complete the signing of Australia international Mile Sterjovski.
The 28-year-old, who is one of six signings made by Rams boss Paul Jewell in the January transfer window, moves to Pride Park from Turkish club Genclerbirligi for an undisclosed fee.
Jewell had hoped Sterjovski would be able to feature in the 1-1 draw with Birmingham City at the weekend but the paperwork was delayed until Tuesday.
However, he is now available to make his debut in Saturday's game against Tottenham.
Sterjovski made his name as a striker at Sydney United and went on to star for Parramatta Power, Lille and FC Basel before joining Genclerbirligi last summer.
He has represented his country on 33 occasions and played in three of Australia's four games at the 2006 World Cup Finals.
The Wollongong-born player made his international debut in November 2000 in a 2-0 friendly win against Scotland and grabbed a hat-trick for the Socceroos in a 9-0 victory over Tahiti in May 2004.
