On-loan striker Jonathan Stead has admitted that he would like to make his stay at Derby County into a permanent transfer.
The Sunderland hitman failed to live up to his £1.8million price tag at the Stadium of Light but, after netting three goals in his last three appearances - including the winner against Leicester on Saturday - Stead is keen on a permanent switch to Pride Park.
"I'm enjoying my football at the moment so it'd be an easy decision to come here permanently," he said.
"But I'd prefer to concentrate on the here and now because I'm on a fantastic run of form and scoring goals.
"It's just amazing to have 25,000 fans singing your name and we are in a really good position here."
