Smith stays with Lions

Derby County manager Billy Davies has allowed Ryan Smith to extend his loan spell with Millwall until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old winger moved to the New Den last month and has made four appearances for Willie Donachie's side.

Smith came through the youth team ranks at Arsenal, and made six Carling Cup appearances for the Gunners before moving to Derby last summer.

He has made five Championship starts and ten appearances from the substitute's bench for the Rams this term.
