Rams still chasing five players

With pre-season training coming ever nearer Tom Glick has announced that Derby still have an eye on five players With several players already signed and raring to go for Derby County it is surprising to hear that the Rams are still on the look out for five more players.  Top of that list is Scottish International striker Chris Maguire. Aberdeen are still holding out for a fee of £400,000, a fee which Derby are not keen to match, so it could be down to FIFA to give a final ruling on the fee. Maguire will have a three year deal with the Rams once the fee is settled.  Rams CEO, Tom Glick has stated that Derby are also after another striker to add to Maguire and Nathan Tyson. The Rams are still hopeful of signing highly rated goalkeeper Adam Legzdins from neighbours Burton Albion. It is seen to be as back-up for the Rams earlier acquisition of Blackburn and England Under 21 keeper Frank Fielding.  Nigel Clough and Tom Glick have also identified the holding midfield position as a place they need to fill before the pre-season training begins. The left back position also needs back-up for Gareth Roberts for next season and the Rams are hoping to bring someone into the club in the near future...
