Rams slammed by Davies

Derby manager Billy Davies slammed the first-half performance of his side despite the Rams picking up the points after a 2-1 victory over Barnsley on Wednesday evening.
Giles Barnes scored twice in two minutes after Bobby Hassell had put Barnsley ahead, but the performance left Davies in a highly-critical mood.
"We owe the fans an apology for that first 45 minutes because it was nothing short of appalling," he said.
"We spoke about the right approach to play this kind of potential banana skin game against a so-called bottom-of-the-league team.
"But of course we come in at half-time and we have had far too many three, four, five-out-of-ten performances.
"We changed it around but that opening 45 minutes was shocking."
